Hardwick House is personally run by Drenagh & Simon Wootton, who ensure a warm welcome awaits you.

Drenagh says:-  'We have been running Hardwick House for just over 11 years, and during that time we have come to realise what is important. Apart from the obvious (a clean and comfortable ensuite room) I believe that there are many 'uncomplicated' extras that will really enhance a guest's stay, for example extra choices for the tea/coffee tray with fresh milk available on request. A small 'trust bar' where you can purchase a limited range of confectionary and drinks is located next to the residents lounge. Our aim is to make people feel welcome and also try to provide those little things that will make all the difference.'

Simon says:- We made some major changes in October 2003. The main difference is that we are now completely non smoking and this has been very well received. I find that one of the main reasons that people stay at Hardwick House is our location, we are very lucky to live in a lovely, quiet, residential area of town, away from the main roads and yet an easy walk to the theatre and shops. The fact that people can park their car here is an added bonus.
